Terms of Use
These terms apply to the Near iPhone app and arisenear.com, operated by Arise AI Ltd (“we”). By using Near you agree to them. Paid subscriptions through the App Store are also subject to Apple’s Licensed Application End User License Agreement.
The service
Near is a voice companion. She talks with you, can remember things you tell her, and may check in if you allow it. She is not a therapist, doctor, or emergency service. If you are in crisis, contact local emergency services or a crisis line.
Account
You sign in with Apple or Google. You are responsible for that sign-in. You can delete your account in the app (You → Delete account). That removes chats, memories, voice lock, and related data we store. Some backups may remain for a limited time. You can also email support@arisenear.com.
Near Plus
Voice stays free for a handful of turns. After that, continuing to talk requires Near Plus, a monthly auto-renewing subscription billed by Apple. Payment is charged to your Apple ID at confirmation. The subscription renews unless you turn off auto-renew at least 24 hours before the current period ends. Manage or cancel in iOS Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions. Deleting your Near account does not cancel Plus; cancel in Settings.
Acceptable use
Do not use Near to harm others, to break the law, or to try to break into the service. We may suspend access if we have to.

How we handle data is in the Privacy Policy.

Near is provided as-is. Replies can be wrong. We are not liable for decisions you make based on a conversation with her, to the extent the law allows.
Changes
We may update these terms. The date above will change when we do.
